Extreme Makeover Home Edition — Toledo, OH

September 15th, 2008 · 3 Comments

Extreme Makeover Home Edition (EMHE) came to Toledo, OH on September 7th/8th, 2008 to make the decision of who was picked out of multiple families here in the Toledo metro area.  The Frisch family was chosen by EMHE and they did a fine job on the house.  I wanted to make it down to the house this past Sunday when the family came home and they revealed the house but was unable to, due to the mass number of people wanting to do the same thing.  The Toledo Blade covered the story very well and have even uploaded YouTube videos if you want a quick glimpse before the show airs in November.  EMHE really brought Toledo together and it was really good for the city.

Amongst other things Fire Station 23 on Laskey Rd. received a makeover of its own due to funds that were donated and the fact that Mr. Frisch works at that station.

Thanks for coming to Toledo, Extreme Makeover Home Edition!
